Dr. Rhett Finley
Endodontist
Dr. Finley was raised in Rapid City, SD. He attended Baylor University for his undergraduate studies, where he graduated Magna Cum Laude with a degree in Biology. Following college, he entered Dental School at the University of Minnesota and received his DDS degree in 2010. To further enhance his dental skills, he completed a one-year General Practice Residency (GPR) at the University of Colorado Denver, where he received training in endodontics, oral surgery, surgical and restorative implant therapy, and comprehensive management of the dental patient.
Dr. Finley returned to the Twin Cities in 2011 and practiced general dentistry for three years in Burnsville and Plymouth. Through his GPR training and his time as a general dentist, Dr. Finley has developed a broad understanding of all areas of dentistry, which has been invaluable in the diagnosis and treatment planning of his endodontic patients. During his time as a general practitioner, he developed a strong appreciation for the field of endodontics, and he ultimately decided to return to the University of Minnesota for his specialty training. In 2016, Dr. Finley earned a certificate in Endodontics and a Master’s Degree in Science for his research project investigating the bone biology involved with traumatic dental injuries.
Dr. Finley is a board certified Diplomate of the American Board of Endodontists. He maintains active membership in the American Association of Endodontists (AAE) and the Minnesota Association of Endodontists (MAE), and is currently serving as the President of the Minnesota Association of Endodontists.
Rhett and his wife Julianne have two children; Lucy (5) and Rowan (2). In his spare time, Rhett enjoys golfing, cycling, running, and spending time with his family.
