Michael Mittelsteadt, DDS, MS
Meet Dr. Mittelsteadt
Dr. Michael Mittelsteadt was raised in Apple Valley, Minnesota. He earned his BA in Chemistry and Religion at St. Olaf College in Northfield, MN in 2012. He later completed his DDS degree at the University of Minnesota in 2016.
Dr. Mittelsteadt continued his training at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill Graduate Endodontics program. There he served as chief resident and achieved both his Master of Science and Certificate in Endodontics in 2019. His research focused on the identification of treatment planning biases in order that clinicians can optimize recommendations for their patients. This emphasis reflects Dr. Mittelsteadt’s passion for providing patient-centered care in a comfortable, compassionate manner.
The great potential for community service inherent in dentistry is the most gratifying aspect of the profession for Dr. Mittelsteadt. He has provided dental service both locally through the St. Paul Union Gospel Mission, and internationally through programs in Guatemala, Jamaica, and Peru.
Dr. Mittelsteadt lives in Minneapolis, where he is able to spend time with his family and enjoy his interests of biking, running, and fishing.
