Dr. Michael Reynolds is originally from West Des Moines, Iowa. He earned his BA in Microbiology from Miami University, Ohio in 2004 and his DDS from the University of Iowa in 2008. He then completed a General Practice Residency at the University and VA Hospitals in Iowa City. During residency, Dr. Reynolds received training in sedation, treating medically compromised patients, and advanced oral surgery.

Dr. Reynolds practiced general dentistry in Minnesota at Family Dental Clinic in Minneapolis and Northwest Dental Group in Rochester before returning to endodontic residency at the University of Iowa. He served as Chief Resident and won the Mike Fuller award at the Iowa Section of the American Association for Dental Research.

He is co-author of the chapter on Dento-Alveolar Trauma in Oral and Maxillofacial Trauma, 4th Edition. Dr. Reynolds is a board certified Diplomate of the American Board of Endodontics.

Dr. Reynolds served on the American Association of Endodontists Resident and New Practitioner Committee, where he facilitated the growth of new practitioners and residents. He also authored numerous articles for the Paper Point newsletter.  Dr. Reynolds is involved in the American Association of Endodontics (AAE), Minnesota Dental Association (MDA), American Dental Association (ADA), Saint Paul District Dental Society (SPDDS), and Minneapolis District Dental Society (MDDS).

Dr. Reynolds and his wife, Macey, have 2 daughters, Kate and Molly, and son, Brady. They enjoy running, golf, supporting Iowa Hawkeye athletics, and attending Grace Church in Eden Prairie. During the summer, they enjoy spending time at Lake Okoboji with their families and friends.
