Scott Doyle, DDS, MS

Scott Doyle, DDS, MS, Endodontist - Burnsville, Eden Prairie, Inver Grove Heights, and Northfield, Minnesota Dr. Scott Doyle was raised in Eau Claire, Wisconsin. He received his Bachelor of Science from the University of Wisconsin-Madison in 1995 and his Doctor of Dental Surgery from the University of Minnesota in 1999. After graduation from dental school, Dr. Doyle served in the United States Air Force for 7 years. His first assignment was at Eglin AFB, Florida, where he completed an Advanced Education in General Dentistry residency. Dr. Doyle practiced as a general dentist for two years at Altus AFB, Oklahoma, prior to his acceptance into an endodontic residency.

In 2004, Dr. Doyle obtained both his Master of Science and Certificate in Endodontics from the University of Minnesota. His research focused on the comparison of outcomes for root canal treatment and dental implants. The results led to multiple publications in the Journal of Endodontics and Compendium, as well as serving as the foundation for ongoing studies. Dr. Doyle then served for two years as Chief of Endodontics at Langley AFB, Virginia. During this time, he shared his clinical and academic expertise with seven dental residents each year. In 2005, he was named the Air Force Air Combat Command Junior Dental Officer of the Year.

Dr. Doyle currently serves as an Associate Clinical Professor for the Division of Endodontics at the University of Minnesota. He stays abreast of the latest advancements in the specialty of endodontics by maintaining memberships in the American Dental Association, Minnesota Dental Association, Minnesota Association of Endodontists and the American Association of Endodontists, as well as a variety of study clubs. Dr. Doyle serves on the Executive Council for the St. Paul District Dental Society. He is also an active candidate for certification by the American Board of Endodontics.

Dr. Doyle strives for the highest quality endodontic care for all of his patients in a comfortable environment. His expert clinical skills and knowledge of contemporary techniques are complemented by his warm understanding approach.

Dr. Doyle resides in Bloomington with his wife Patty, a pharmacist, and their two daughters, Ashley and Hannah. Scott values spending time with his family and friends. Other interests include golfing, boating, skiing, watching Wisconsin Badger sports and spending time outdoors.
