Robert Kaufman, DDS

Robert Kaufman, DDS, Endodontist - Burnsville, Eden Prairie, Inver Grove Heights, and Northfield, Minnesota Dr. Robert Kaufman grew up in Cloquet, Minnesota and attended St. Olaf College where he earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in biology and religion. He obtained his Doctor of Dental Surgery from the University of Minnesota School of Dentistry in 1990. Upon completion of his dental training he accepted a commission as an officer with the United States Navy. It was during his time in service that he developed a keen interest in the specialty of endodontics. He was accepted into and completed his advanced training at the Naval Dental School in Bethesda Maryland. He obtained his Certificate in Endodontics in 1998 and continued as a specialist Dental Officer with the Navy until 2000. Dr. Kaufman attained Board Certification from the American Board of Endodontics in 2001.

Dr. Kaufman is a member of the American Association of Endodontics, American Association of Endodontics College of Diplomates, American Dental Association, Minnesota Dental Association, and St. Paul District Dental Society. He also donates his talents to the Donated Dental Services Program.

The most fulfilling aspect of dentistry for Dr. Kaufman is comforting the anxious patient. He enjoys continuing to advance his education and training to keep abreast of all advancements in the field of endodontics.

Dr. Kaufman and his wife Lynne live in Chanhassen and have three children, Ellie, Libby and Audrey. His interests include outdoor activities such as hunting, fishing, camping and boating. Rob also stays active in his church, playing the drums in a contemporary worship, and likes to run triathlons in his spare time.
