James Hilton, DDS, MS
Dr. James Hilton spent his childhood in Utah, adolescence in California and young adult life in Idaho. He received his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the University of Iowa School of Dentistry in 1982. As lead dentist, he practiced full-time and supervised dentists on staff, and those interested in advanced training, at the Apple Valley HealthPartners Clinic. Studying after hours, he received a Masters degree in Business and Administration in 1988 and the Master of the Academy of General Dentistry designation in 1996.
In 1994, Dr. Hilton was invited to join the faculty at the University of Minnesota Dental School and has since continued to teach endodontics part time. In 2000, Dr. Hilton accepted the position of full-time resident in advanced education, receiving his Certificate and Master of Science degree in Endodontics in 2002.
Dr. Hilton maintains memberships in national, state and local dental and endodontic associations and study clubs; and he has contributed to research, publications, lectures and public service throughout his career.
His promise is to provide quality care in a warm, caring, comfortable manner.
Dr. Hilton, his wife Kathy and their daughters Lexy and Kally reside in Eagan and are active in religion, education, sports, arts and science.
